About
our stories make us.
I believe great therapy collaboratively explores what it means to be human--
what it means to have been wounded, what it means to heal.
Years of experience and education in psychotherapy have taught me so much about the human condition, and the stories we tell ourselves about who we are.
Our stories make us--
they can limit us, trap us, reduce us, constrain us
... and they can surprise us, inspire us, and change us.
Our stories of self can open up possibilities or close them down.
I'll ask you this: As you sit where you are right now,
what is the story you tell yourself about who you are?
... and what would it be like to tell yourself a different story?
If you're struggling with the chapter of life you find yourself in, reach out.
Human stories unfold; they take time.
I'm patient. I'm a good listener. I'm invested.
You are more than the worst thing you've ever been through,
your greatest mistake,
or the aftermath of the difficult circumstances you're facing.
Believe me, your story isn't over yet, even if it feels that way right now.
There is more in you.
I hold onto that faith especially in moments when you may struggle to.
